This wine cabinet is made from plywood, pine, and square dowels which I'm assuming are also pine or some such. It holds fifteen wine bottles, and has a cabinet with one shelf which we use to hold our napkins. I made it because we needed a wine rack and also wanted to hide our wall-mounted modem's light, which was pretty distracting to have blinking in the corner of the dining room. The door is made from a sheet of plywood and small wooden dowels, with hardware purchased from Architectural Antiques in Minneapolis. It was stained with Minwax's Chestnut stain and then received three coats of clear polyurethane.
