In summer of 2020 I was asked to make this shelter for a car charging station that was installed at a house with no garage, to protect it from the rain while still making it simple to reach, unwind, and rewind the heavy power cord. I don't support Tesla as a company, but I do support electric car use and more importantly love the person who needed a shelter for her charging station and so there it was. This is made of pressure treated wood with a cedar tone, a base of ground-rated pressure treated 2x4s, and some lovely black hardware. It opens fully on three sides and is screwed into the wooden post that the charging station was installed on for stability.
